Steve Grad is one of the most recognized names in autograph authentication, with decades of experience evaluating significant sports, entertainment, music and historical autographs. A longtime autograph expert featured on History Channel’s Pawn Stars, he served as lead authenticator at both PSA/DNA and Beckett Authentication Services, where he helped build the authentication programs at two of the industry’s most recognized companies.
Together with his wife Stephanie, Steve founded Grad Collection. The two have since launched Grad Authentication, an independent authentication service built for collectors, dealers and auction houses who need a trusted expert opinion without the wait.
VMG works exclusively with Grad Authentication on autographed vinyl. Signed records submitted to VMG are reviewed by Steve Grad with a 24-hour authentication turnaround, then graded and encapsulated in a VMG slab.
